Smurths and Smithies Based on a true story. "Rule 1: Never hurt a Smurth. Rule 2: Antagonize Smurthwaite."
What is Smurths and Smithies? - Smurths and Smithies is a retelling and embellishing of my college years. The story follows my friends and aquaintances who lived in Smith House and Smurthwaite, and also a few outside personalities, people I just couldn't leave out for whatever reason.
Is everyone you knew in the story? - Regrettably, no. I worked in as many people as possible, but it was first and foremost a story with its own canon. With great difficulty I refrained from writing people in on a whim. There was one instance where I wrote someone out at their request.
Why Star Wars? - I greatly admire all that has gone into creating the Star Wars universe, even if George Lucas couldn't write dialogue to save his life. And believe it or not, it's the easiest to write into. I have near infinite choices for settings, creatures, vehicles, and weapons. Wookiepedia helped me research, I have truthfully read very few Star Wars novels. Another useful item has been maps of the Star Wars galaxy, like this one linked here.
Prologue 1 - Not Our Finest Hour - Smith House has returned after five years of inactivity. An altercation occurs in a cantina in Mos Eisley on Tatooine between Jesse and Sebastian and a Smurth contingent. Smurthwaitian President Beth gives the order to begin tracking Smithies.

Chapter 24 - Seth and Jesse take four new men to Hypori to observe a wild Smurth, and an old pirate rejoins the Smithies.
Chapter 25 - Sebastian makes it to Naboo and discusses with Jordan his finding from his talk with Meryl. It seems something, or someone, is feeding Smurths and Smithies information direct to their minds. On Hypori, Sam attempts to make good on his plan to kill everyone, and even stranger visions arise.
Chapter 26 - One by one, Smurths and Smithies move into position, like chess pieces poised on the edge of conflict. Meryl and the Smithies have a momentary truce after Sam's attack. Erik returns to Tatooine and discovers Kris has been hiding there for some time. The recruits from the Jedi academy meet with Shawn and Greene on the Eye of Palpatine II. Meanwhile, Crow and Jesse have found themselves in a most peculiar state of mind.
Chapter 27 - Green is the Color - Everything inches towards catastrophe on Tatooine. Meryl convinced the Smithies on Hypori to help her stop Jemma. And on the Eye of Palpatine II, Greene and Holden make an unwelcome discovery.
Chapter 28 - Mangled Realities - Jesse and Crow are confronted by unfriendly men in the K-State Union Bowling Alley, and the place will never be the same again. The Smithies with Meryl on Hypori discover Jemma and her starship, the Crusasder-class corvette Retaliation. Above Tatooine, Lauren begins to see that the future might not be so bright.

Chapter 32- Not a Barrel Roll - As Ethan, Travis, and Prelogar battle trandoshan piloted Tie-fighters above Tatooine, Seth, using a highly unorthodox method, puts an end to the duel between Sam and Beth. Chapter 35 - Countdown - Within the rancor, the spirit of Sam is wrecking havoc on Mos Eisley and the Smurth forces. While a temporary and complicated truce has been called between the rival houses on Mos Eisley, Smithies continue to face down their new foe, Clovers, on the edge of the galaxy.
Chapter 36 - Anneliese - Jedi Master Anneliese... That's all that can really be said at this juncture.
Chapter 37 - The Best Bad Idea We Have - With Smurth casualties rising, Sara gives the order to drop the Veil of Perfection in atmosphere and bombard the rancor directly with the frigate's guns and torpedoes. Elsewhere, Tyrell returns after an absence of several chapters, to find himself, momentarily, imprisoned.

Chapter 46 - The Cleverest of Plans - Jesse and Tyrell have been handed a job with no real explanation, so why not follow through on it? Tony somehow has recruited a bevy of Smurths to join a mission to the Rishi Maze. And Turner makes plans to scuttle the Eye of Palpatine.
Chapter 47 - Convergence - Like a handful of darts flung against a wall, Smurths, Smithies, and Clovers begin dropping out of hyperspace in a fateful sequence.
Chapter 48 - The Phantom Hope Awakens - The beginning of the end, doom may be inevitable unless Meryl can convince Jesse to give a Smurth and Smithy alliance one final chance, while in the Rishi Maze the Clovers begin their assault on the Eye of Palpatine.
Chapter 49 - When Stars Collide - The Smithies are heavily pressured on all fronts, and while Jesse has accepted Meryl's aid, there is still a long path ahead.
Chapter 50 - The Stabilizers Come Off - Fighting intensifies. Time and distance seem to be fluid. Shutting the Gates is the goal, but will it destroy everyone involved?
